Thank you for your willingness to help support the Westover Cares Food Distribution Community Outreach event in partnership with South Alamo Medical Group and the San Antonio Food Bank. Your participation helps provide essential support to local families while helping to increase Westover's commitment to be a trusted and faithful partner in our local community.

This event will take place at the Westover Hills Church parking lot on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at 2 PM (until supplies last). The church is located at 9340 Westover Hills Blvd, San Antonio, TX 78251. Please arrive promptly at 12 PM and park near the Sports Field Concession Stand (follow signs). Onsite training will take place upon arrival.

Duties:

• Verification of pre-registered clients and voucher collection
• Volunteers will also be responsible for bagging, sorting product if necessary and loading product into client's vehicle
• Other duties include but not limited to clean up, breaking down boxes, general set up and/or general breakdown of project

Requirements:

• Able to lift up to 25lbs
• Must be 13 Years or older
• Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift (3-4hrs)
• Volunteers must be able to plan accordingly to the weather

Your Safety: We encourage volunteers to bring their own masks and reusable water bottle containers. We will be staging the distribution to enforce social distancing Client interaction will be limited as clients will remain in their vehicle We will be providing water for volunteers.

IMPORTANT: Registration is per individual. Please register only if you intend on volunteering. If you are unable to attend after all please cancel your registration to allow someone else to fill that slot. Each volunteer slot plays an essential role in the success of this event.
